Things had been feeling a little routine so we decided we needed to do something FUN. (More for Bailey, but for ourselves too). So we cram packed FOUR big things into our Saturday. We looked into heading to the beach, but backed out of it because of Andrew and the hotel with the water park where we wanted to stay was booked. So we stayed around here and had some fun!
First, BJ took Bailey back to the YMCA to swim. We used to do this a lot since it was right near our house, but Bailey hadn’t gone since we moved! I am sure they had a good time.
Then, the USC equestrian team had a meet and it was Kids Day! Since their farm is right across the street from our neighborhood (and it was FREE) Bailey and I decided to check it out. We invited Callie and headed out to see the horses. I think they all had a good time!

They got to pet the horses and feed them hay.

They got to make these stick horses. Bailey stayed on hers for a while, yelling “Giddy-up” the whole time. Yes, people were looking at us.

Sweet horse-y kisses!
Then we came home for a lunch break and headed to the museum. No nap first. Bailey thought it was the big time! She loves going to Edventure (we only ever go the first weekend of the month because Bank of America card holders get in FREE!).
After the museum, our final venture was to the Lake! She was thrilled to go out to MaMaw’s and PaPaw’s! We haven’t been out there to stay the night for a while and she was SO excited. Plus we got to have cupcakes to celebrate MaMaw’s birthday! We even finished the night with a dance party out on the pontoon!

Fishing with Daddy!

CUPCAKES!!! (Yes, now you see why we had to go have a dance party.)
It wasn’t the beach, but we all had fun! And Andrew slept from 9pm till 5:30am. That’s huge progress!
