The season would not be complete without visiting Santa.
Again, Andrew asked for a workbench and tools. Bailey asked for LEGOS!
All the kids! This was arranged through our Sunday School class. It was so fun!

Here is a conversation with Andrew!
We had saved his birthday presents from us so he could open them today. However, it ended up making him so confused. After seeing Santa over the weekend he asked for a “workbench.” His big gift from us was a bike. At one point during the afternoon he said, “Santa didn’t bring me a workbench. I didn’t ask for a bike.” He was very serious and concerned. Poor guy has no idea what is still coming!
Last weekend we headed to Bryson City, NC to catch a ride on the Polar Express. Both kids have really gotten into the book and movie this year. (Plus Andrew loves anything train). The weather did NOT cooperate, but we all had a great time! All Aboard!
Tickets, Tickets!
Hot Choco-lat! Keep it cooking in the pot! Never, ever let it cool!
Look who showed up in the North Pole!!!
Andrew asked for a workbench and Bailey asked for Legos! He is so magical!
And Santa delivers everyone with a silver bell that rings “IF YOU TRULY BELIEVE!” (You can imagine the noise as ALL the children (and some grown ups!) are ringing their bells for the rest of the trip!)
We loved it! Both kids really have gotten into the book, movie and soundtrack which made this even more fun. The railway did a great job keeping us entertained and busy the entire time! It was so fun!
We stayed the night in Maggie Valley and were hoping to hike a little or get out and do a few other things, but the weather was rainy and cold the entire time. The kids hit up the hotel pool and loved every minute!
We are expecting #3! Due March 20. As we have told everyone, they respond with “Oh No, not another Andrew.” (Good confidence booster, huh!) We don’t care, we are excited!
Let the fun times begin…again!!!!!
I decided I needed to update our frames at home! It took two tries, but I finally got some that will work!
Every year at church, they put on the Singing Christmas Tree. Bailey was old enough to join the youth choir and had her first performances this weekend. She was extremely nervous on Friday but ended up loving every minute!! (3 days, 5 performances, almost 3,000 people per show!)
This is half of their group. They were split into two sections on different parts of the stage. We were so proud of her!
On Sunday, Andrew and I headed to the local parade with Grandma and Grandpa. Andrew’s top three “floats”: the firetrucks, a semi pulling a loader and a cherry picker. He loved it.
