On Sunday we met our neighbors on the lake for hours of fun!
The girls!
Throughout the day, we did different combinations of us on both tubes. What fun!
WEEEEEE!
On Saturday we had our annual birthday bash celebrating everyone’s birthday! We decided a few years ago, this was just easier than worrying about mailing something. Plus it is fun to get something when it isn’t your birthday too!
Terry even got with it this year and had them make the cake say “Happy Birthday Everyone!”
Here are some photos from the day!
So, Happy Birthday Everyone!
Andrew, being Andrew…
Andrew was begging for my corn on the cob. So I gave in. There was no hesitation. He dug right in.
Are 18 month olds even supposed to eat corn?
And a car wash!
Warning: May get wet.
On the fourth we headed to the zoo, swam and did sparklers…here are some highlights!
The bears are back! They had been on “vacation” while their exhibit was renovated. We love watching them play in the water and are glad they returned.
“Ummm, Dad, I think you’ve got something on your head.”
Don’t think you need to worry about getting a pet giraffe anytime soon!
Who doesn’t love the marry-go-round!
At the pool!
Fireworks!
We were so excited when Uncle Pat and Aunt Denise decided to bring Jacob down for a visit! We loved having them here and hope they come back soon!
We headed to the lake the first day they were here! The weather wasn’t beautiful, but that didn’t hold Jacob (or anyone else) back!
Out boating!
And Tubing!
Talk about CUTE!
We spent this week celebrating America! We did LOTS of “projects” (as Bailey calls them) but I guess I didn’t take many photos. Here are some of our creations.
One day Bailey spent the whole time painting – using pipe cleaners, cookie cutters and her hands!
Then we made wind socks! We also dyed rice and glued them to paper making firework shapes. Bailey also spent over an hour mixing vinegar (using an eye dropper) and baking soda on coffee filters to make sun catchers! She loved the “fizz!”
And another day we pretended to be Uncle Sam!
Happy Birthday America!
