Tour De France...I mean Cure...

Yesterday we entered our first bike event, Tour De Cure.  There were lots of races but we entered into the family one mile event.  It was fun!  Bailey did great, could have gone longer, but the next distance is 5 miles and we aren’t sure she is quite ready for that!  We were sweaty.

Memorial Day

 

Our morning bike ride.  Bailey has learned to ride her bigger bike well enough that we can ride along beside her.  We tried it yesterday for the first time and she requested to do it again today! 

And it was FREE FROSTY Day at Wendy’s!  Does it get any better than that?!

Memorial Day Weekend..

This weekend we stayed home and relaxed for the most part.  We swam, went to the park, went on a bike ride, laid around and went to a cookout.  Here are a few photos at the pool.

A quick video from the pool.  Bailey has picked up right where she left off last fall.  Andrew was a little unsure about it the first time we went, but here he is the second time.  Still takes his time to take it all in, but he is already more comfortable than before!  It's only a matter of time until he is running full speed and jumping in.

This is typical Andrew – he drops his gold fish through the umbrella hole in the middle of the table (and says uh-o each time) so he then can go under it to eat his “nack.”

Andrew started shivering at the pool, so he and I got out and went to the playground while BJ and Bailey stayed to swim some more!

Party Time!

Since Grandma and Grandpa were down for the weekend, we decided to go ahead and have Bailey’s little party too!  She invited her closest friends and we met at the park.  Bailey wanted ice cream, so we went all out with as many toppings as we could think of!
