One evening last week we walked over to the golf course in our neighborhood and “hit the ball around” a little. It turned into running up and down the hills – which also wears them out, so mission accomplished!

Laundry Room Make-over!
This is the “before.” Except I forgot to take a photo before we took down the wire shelf and the laundry sign. Close enough.
Along the way…
The finished product.
I love it. I promise it is not that yellow in real life. But it is bright and cheery. And all my laundry room mess is now hidden behind the doors. And they haven’t fallen….yet.

At least they have on helmets.
Our road has a decline that is perfect for the plasma car. So off they go!
Grandma’s and Grandpa’s house has an even better one, just ask Grandma!
BJ thought we might have a better chance explaining the injuries to DSS if they wore helmets. That thing can FLY! (again, just ask Grandma!)
Andrew was getting his chores done!
1st Day of 4K!
Bailey started school today! Her teachers came and visited her and she has been ready ever since!
Getting to school. As soon as we walked into the classroom, Bailey saw her friend Jamiya from last year. And it was as if I wasn’t even in the room anymore. sniff. sniff. They were happily playing as I walked out (past the other screaming kids and their parents.)
Our family this evening:
Usually photo-bombers are in the back. Not this guy. Front and center. Move it kid.

The purple tube and THE 360!
We went back to the lake for one last get-away before students came back to school. Here are a few new things we tried!
Bailey loved the purple tube. The only problem is my arms won’t move because they are so sore. The yellow one is MUCH easier to ride.
BJ’s new jet ski trick is THE 360! All I know is, they came back drenched. Bailey loved it. I, of course, can’t do it as well as Daddy can.
Fishing from the dock…these two have caught the same fish 100’s of time.
Family Fun!
Busy, Busy, Busy
1. Sweatband birthday party – we LOVED the birthday party, and totally rocked the sweatband party favors! Happy Birthday Silas!
2. Rock wall – Bailey is determined to get to the top of the rock wall at the zoo. Each time we go she goes about 6” higher. Maybe by the time she is 16 she will reach it! And look close at the lady up top…Super Grandma!
3. Grandma “project” – Grandma babysat two days last week and Bailey decided they needed to do some “projects.” So I came home to this life-sized paper doll (I mean, princess) that has clothes that can be changed. (Rumor has it, Bailey got to climb up and lay on the kitchen table to be traced – maybe I would rather NOT know what goes on when we are not home.)
4. Exercise – 30 day Abs Challenge – BJ and I are doing the abs challenge each night, so Bailey decided she is going to try too. She did three crunches and declared “My head hurts.” Here she is in action doing plank…
5. Andrew slide – I think it was time for me to go back to work.
