Last Saturday we headed out to the lake. The weather wasn’t as nice as it was predicted, but we still had a great time! Mark, Susan and Roberta were down for a visit and we thought they should see it all. Hopefully they will come back when it is warmer.
While the “men” and Roberta watched basketball the rest of the “girls” created fancy hair accessories and played Bailey’s Beauty Salon and Tatoo Parlor. Yes, Aunt Susan, Mamaw Miller and Mamaw Belville ALL got tatoos!

Polar Bear Plunge 2016
Yes, Andrew went swimming. He was gathering rocks and then running onto the dock to throw them in the water. Then he would take a break, pick up his fishing pole, fish a little and then get back to throwing rocks. Well, one time he came back around to pick up some more rocks and ran down the boat ramp right into the water! Simple as that. He kind of took two or three steps into the water, fell face first and then stood back up and ran out. He was coming out by the time Mamaw took two steps to get to him in the water. You can see by the pictures, he whined a little, but really didn’t care. So Polar Bear Plunge, Anyone?
1 John 4:19 We love because He first loved us.
We celebrated Valentine’s Day this weekend with lots of fun food and family time! (The temps were quite cold so we really didn’t have a choice!).
Over the weekend, we had cinnamon rolls, heart pizza, love potion, heart cake and chocolate chip heart pancakes! And tomorrow I need to go on a diet!
Leading up to Valentine’s Day the kids loved getting some cards in the mail. Andrew walked around with his under his arm saying “My cards.”
For Valentine’s Day we always do a scavenger hunt with a little prize at the end. Bailey has been so excited waiting for her scavenger hunt! Andrew was a little confused as Bailey went around the house trying to figure out where to go next. He just followed her saying “prize” over and over!
The big finish! In the dryer!
Later in the afternoon Bailey and I did a few “love projects.”
Then after dinner, Grandma and Grandpa came over for some heart cake and Love Potion (raspberry sherbet and 7 Up).
Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone!
…was a letdown.
Here are some photos from our party! (Well we had both sets of grandparents over, so it was kind of like a party!)
Pregame shenanigans!
Learning how to “dab.” (Unfortunately, these skills were never needed during the game.)
All participants had to decorate a helmet for the team they wanted to win. Bernie’s bronco definately won the “What is that?!!” award. We also played the “word” game throughout the night where you try to take the sticker when that person says the word.
A little pin the football into the goal post. Some were better than others!
Let’s EAT!
During the game, Andrew found a nice cozy spot. (Yes, blue tablet was nice and charged so we could actually watch the game!)
When we came back for more chocolate chip pie we decided to sing Happy Birthday to MaMaw!
This was what our church’s gathering place looked like last week because it was Missions Sunday. Bailey’s first question was “Where is the Buckeye flag?” She does have a point, right?!
100 days down, 80 to go!
On the left she is counting out 100 noodles all by herself. She insisted on using 10 containers and putting 10 noodles in each. You go kid. Then on the right she is wearing her 100 beads necklace and her 100 dotted hat!
