Thanksgiving!
Fall Flag Football
Grant - glasses and a tooth!
And in other news, Grant went to the eye doctor and walked out with glasses. It was the saddest thing I had seen in a while. The eye doctor (who is amazing) told him, and he instantly broke into tears and whispered, "nooooooooo." However, he has adjusted well and is using them without a fight. Just needs them when he reads and uses electronics. Thankfully, not during sports.

Grant Fall Sports
I convinced BJ to start a travel team for Grant this fall too. Yes, crazy. However, he regrets not doing it with Andrew because a lot of his age has split off on other teams around the area. BJ's thought is to keep the kids in our town together. SO it's 8U, coaches pitch and it's been so fun! Out of 5 fall tournaments, they came in second twice, and first twice. Like, won the whole thing! Twice!
Grant mostly plays left field. He will sometimes move into 2nd base, but not often. However, his hitting is great. He gets on base often and is super fast. So fun to watch him!
For Halloween, they dressed up as "Bomber-ade" and won the contest. Prize = a free tournament!
Bailey Fall sports
Bailey and I have been on lots of adventures together this fall. She has a soccer new coach and her playing time isn't as high as it used to be. Some games she plays the whole time, others she only plays half. It has been hard getting used to it because he has no reason to why. One game she even played the entire game at defensive mid. Nobody knows. I have added lots of adventures (apple picking, hiking in Alabama) to make these trips fun, even if the game doesn't go well.
She has learned to focus on doing her best and to control what you can while you are in the game. Life lessons here.
