Here are a few things we did during our winter break. We had lots of down time to just play. This past week it has been so cold outside we really didn’t get to do much.
1. Baked Cookies – Somehow t-rexs and butterflies got into my batch of Christmas trees. And Grant found the tupperware.
2. Edventure
BJ said they really enjoyed the new exhibits – the news room and the flight stuff. Lookout for the next weather girl and news reporter. Apparently there is breaking news that the entire state is “seriously covered in tornades” so Andrew advises us all to “stay inside and that he is sending air rescue.”
3. Bike Rides and Plasma Cars and Strollers – Grant is finally big enough for the bike seat so we even took a family ride! Keep in mind Andrew rides around as a policeman the entire time.
4. Just Played! (and stayed in our PJ’s ALOT!)
5. New Year’s Eve – We did “bags of fun” again starting at 4:00. Grandma and Grandpa brought over a pot of ham and beans to join the fun. Games ended and all three kids in bed by 8:04pm. We call it a success! We didn’t take many photos, but got a few good shots of the snowman build!

When we picked up Andrew from church this morning he was SO excited to show us his new Cowboy hat! He was galloping around telling us (and many others) to giddy-up!? Nothing says Happy New Year quite like that!
