Thanksgiving 2016

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV) - Rejoice always,  pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Thanksgiving morning we got up and headed to a Turkey Trot!  We do the 1 mile kids option.  This was the first year Andrew completed the race, no stroller!  He even had his airplane wings out flying down the street.  Hey, whatever it takes.  Grandma had hers out too!

During the race, BJ and Bailey took off and left us in the dust!  Below is the big finish!

Later in the day we hosted the meal!  It was fun!

November Update!

1. Home Depot Helicopters!  Around Veteran’s Day we went to the Home Depot’s free Kids workshop.  The kids loved making and painting them!

All afternoon, they ran around flying their helicopters!

2. Superhero Sunday at church!

3. Soccer season ended =(.  Bailey had a great season and was sad to have it end.

4. Bailey’s 1st Wedding!  BJ’s cousin Chris got married and Bailey was excited to go!  (We decided it best to leave Andrew at home!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!)

Bailey’s favorite part, by far, was the chocolate fountain!

Gobble, Gobble!

Halloween 2016!

We started our fun last weekend when the kids got to paint their pumpkins!

We had mummy dogs, calzone snakes and ghost bananas all leading up to the big day!

MawMaw brought over a ghost cake that Andrew used to make himself a moustache.

We also decorated some sugar cookie cut-outs.  We had pumpkins, bats and ghosts!

No one was very interested in helping BJ this year.  They both thought it was “disgusting.”

Our black cat and construction worker (part time “pireman”) ran the streets!  We attended a few fall festivals and trunk-or-treats ahead of time so they got to dress up plenty!  Our Kroger even had an event!

CANDY!!! – I don’t think we have ever had this much in our house.  Ever.
