Grant–11 months

Here we go!

• You walk, all over.  You are getting fast.  You aren’t so sure about wearing shoes.  You just stand there when they are on!
• You are small.  and mighty=).  You put up with Andrew climbing on you and loving you in his special way! 
• You like putting things in containers or putting a toy down in something and then shaking it until it falls out.
• You are in 12 month clothes.
• You sleep through most nights.
• You are just sweet and calm and allow all the crazy to go on around you without much complaint.
• You are not a good eater.  You have decided to stop eating baby food but are VERY picky with table food.  Your favorite meal is mac and cheese with canned peas…by far. 
• When we are downstairs you play for a while and then you sneak to the steps and climb until you are caught.  You still don’t know how to come down.
• Your new thing is to throw anything you can hold in your hand.
• Your favorite toys are big green ball you got for Christmas, little people mail truck, any nightlights, and a little turtle that has a suction cup on the bottom.
• You had your first stomach bug (threw up three times one night) and then passed it to ALL 4 of us!
• You have 2 bottom teeth.

1st Hair cut!

I couldn’t take it anymore. Grant’s hair was getting too long and shaggy! 

When we got there Grant wasn’t too sure, but he never cried.  The lady did a really good job keeping her distance, but making him smile.  He sat real still and made it very easy for her.  She also was quick and wasted no time! 

Here is the before and after!  I love that cute face.

(And now I am off to watch youtube videos on how to cut boy’s hair because we will be broke in a year due to haircuts!  So in 6 weeks, he may have a buzz cut. =) )

Quick Recap!

Nothing much happening around here.  Just livin’ life!  Here are a few highlights of the last couple weeks.
1. Grant walks…shortly after 10 months, he just took off.

2. Bailey and BJ hit the course.  Well the weather was so nice one day they actually couldn’t get a tee time, so they just went to the range.

3. Just riding around.

4. Rain doesn’t stop us!  (We may wonder why no one wants to play with us, but we sure had fun!)  It had rained ALL day (and part of the day before) and I finally said, “Go put your socks on and get outside!”  The next thing I knew Wonder Woman and Leonardo were running out the door.  Weird socks.  I don’t know who leads who sometimes!

5. Home Depot kids workshop.
