Weekend Workout!

Last weekend we all got healthier as we participated in two fun events! We started Friday as we ALL participated in the Governors Cup One Mile Kids run.

Then Saturday morning we were signed up for the annual bike race for Tour De Cure. BJ and Grant stayed home because it was pretty hot (and who wants to mess with nap time!).

Some how the course got messed up and no one knew what direction to go, so we (and the rest of the 2 mile group) made up our own path to get back!

Grant–2 months

My Stats:

Height/Length: 22.5” (30%)
Weight: 11 lbs, 10 ounces (35%)
Head Circumference: 39 cm (70%)

A little guy with big brains!

What you are up to:

Still on a 3 hour schedule during the day, drinking 7 bottles (5 ounces). At night you sleep from 8-7am but eat at 11 and 3. You are an inconsistent napper. Some days you sleep lots and the next you are up within the hour. Makes life frustrating!
3 month clothes are getting tight and you are heading into 6 month.
We have transitioned you to the crib! You sleep swaddled up against the rail for naps and night time.
Within the past week or so you started smiling! I love it! Bailey and Andrew love to make you smile at them.
You enjoy the playmat, bouncy seat and just laying flat where you can kick and swing your arms.
You had your first night away from us when Grandma came to stay the night.
You have red dots on you that continue to develop and grow (the largest is on your arm, two on your leg, a couple on your head and one on your right cheek). They were diagnosed as hemangiomas. The pediatrician said they will continue to grow and get larger until you are 8-9 months and then they will fade and go away on their own usually by age 2.

Weekend Atlanta!

We left early Sunday morning and headed for Stone Mountain. This was a last minute addition to our trip. The weather was forcasted to be high 60’s and sunny, so we decided to go for it. It was super fun!

First we took the skylift to the top!

Then we saw the dinosaurs!

Don’t let him eat us!!! There were 20 dinosaurs that were life size and moved. Scary. Glad I didn’t live then!

We also spent a lot of time on a low ropes course.

Swimming at the hotel. BJ and I decided next time we are just going to get a room at a hotel with a pool 2 miles from home. They were just as excited to swim as anything.

Day 2 – LegoLand Discovery Center

Bailey would have continuted to build ALL day. She probably worked on this for an hour!

Andrew was very into it as well! He liked making his boat go through the water…go figure.

They even have legos on the wall!!!

How cool is that?! Andrew had to wait ALL day to get to see it up close. The “Master builder” who created it said it took 50 hours to put together! He challenged BJ to build a bridge to get it from one table to the other. BJ accomplished it on try one! He was smart enough to think of keeping it upside down.
