Things got a little chilly here this week!
We started by reading about igloos and then attempted to build our own. We used the toy bins as our “ice blocks” and an umbrella as our “cornerstone” at the top.
Some of our projects!
We made SNOW! We mixed conditioner and baking soda to make snow. Andrew played with it for FOUR hours straight! FOUR!!!
We attempted to make marshmallow igloos. Baileys turned out…Andrew’s never had a chance.
We couldn’t have a frozen week without making ice cream. Bailey was shocked when it actually turned out!
I froze water in a couple old baking sheets and around some lego figures so they could ice skate! This was also a big hit and turned into playing “pond” as the water melted.
Another thing Bailey enjoyed was looking at polarbearsinternational.org and seeing where real polar bears are and have walked with the polar bear tracker. Pretty amazing.
