Easter

 Well, the bunny came again!

We decided to just watch church online.  We had some outside options but the low was in the 30's and it just sounded better to be warm on the couch!  Then Grandma and Grandpa came for Easter brunch.

After that we headed outside to die some eggs.  We really ran out of time heading up to Easter, so what better day!  The weather was perfect!

And apparently the cool new thing is to SMASH them.  So off to the woods they went.

Finally, they got dressed and we headed out for our egg hunt.  The kids wrote the Easter bunny a note and asked it to leave the eggs in a bag and we would hunt them later in the day (The chocolate melts, if he hides them overnight! - Lesson learned the hard way.)

Then we headed to Grandma's and Grandpa's for Easter dinner.

Happy Easter!  He is Risen.

We got invited to two separate egg hunts with friends.  Both were great and fun!

 

We played some fun games too!

We also had a fun hunt with our neighbors!

Easter at the lake!

 We headed to the lake last weekend to celebrate Easter with Bernie and Terry.  We definitely had some fun!

1. Build a safe house for your egg!

 

 

 

BJ took the kids fishing for a little bit - 

They would touch it, but everyone was too chicken to hold it.

Then, the highlight of the day...the egg smash competition.  Terry hard boiled all but one egg.  Hopefully you didn't get it.

Andrew got the unlucky egg.  It went everywhere.  yuck.

Then we had an egg hunt.  After it got underway, it had a short rain delay before it could be finished!
