Thanksgiving

We did all the traditions we usually do for Thanksgiving!  Thankful pumpkin, Turkey trot, family.

Even BJ was home to help with the prep!

Chilly at the start, but perfect running weather once we got going.
Grant and I finished in 41:00.

Happy Thanksgiving!

OSU vs. Rutgers

The boys and I took a trip to Columbus to see the Buckeyes play Rutgers.  Bailey got rostered for a soccer tournament so she stayed back with BJ.

tailgating with Grant

walking up!  It was pretty cold in the morning, but warmed up when the sun came out.

Waiting for the player walk.

Caleb Downs and Julian Sayin

We started up in the top seats and then moved down to sit with Tam and Bob.

Special thanks to Uncle Chris for letting us crash for two nights.  And for the pizza and snacks!
Go Buckeyes.

November

 Slowing down a little...

Flag Football teams both went undefeated!

Soccer won the Open Cup.  Won the final game in overtime on a PK.  (They did tackle our girl in the box to cause the shot)

Grant was a Beach Boy in the school musical.  Never knew he could even play guitar. (Good thing it was a blow up!)

Bailey and I went to see Wicked 2.  Not as good as the first, but still fun.

Halloween

They are so weird.  I offered to buy or make whatever they wanted.  This is what they chose.

"six seven"

Everything started great, then I could tell something was up with Grant.  By 6:45 he was done.  He wanted to keep going so badly, but he had gotten a fever and his energy was done.  BJ took Grant and I back to the house and he continued with the bigger "67."

His throat was sore, he wasn't feeling good at all.  I felt bad for him.  I knew he wanted to be out there.  Lucky for him, he still got PLENTY of candy.  We ended up with more full size candy than ever.

While I made fun of their "67" costume, it actually brought a lot of joy to them and the older people who they interacted with.  No one quite understands the phrase which made it silly.  Bailey and Andrew also had to stick together for their costume to make any sense, and that was also fun to watch.  Thanks kids, for wanting to trick-or-treat with us, as a family.

Oh, I dressed as a ref at school.
